Since you are paying good money for information instead of something that is of material value, I thought an explanation would be in order. I fall around the middle of the pricing road but the inspection you receive is very informative. I have been doing inspections in some capacity for most of my working life. From the local full-service gas station, through two braches of the military, inspections as a commercial diver, non-destructive-testing at petroleum refineries and to thousands of home inspections. I have also been on the receiving end of inspections as a home buyer before my career as a home inspector which has definitely increased my repertoire for your benefit. |
Your price was dictated by the square footage of the house, if it were a pier-and-beam type structure, age and any peripheral inspections that would include detached buildings, pools, sprinklers, termite, etc. Even though I can't possibly know it all, great pride, true enjoyment in protecting the consumer, honesty and attention to detail is what went into your inspection and hopefully that justifies the service and continued support you are paying for.
